Welcome to mayacaves.org

Welcome to the brand-new (and still in-progress) mayacaves.org. What I am attempting here is to provide a complement to Brady and Rissolo's "trog list." If all goes according to plan, we'll have active discussions in the forum and maybe even a few people writing 'blogs in field notes about experiences in the field and lab.

Think of mayacaves.org as sort of a more interactive version of the emails that occasionally go around the group. Soon (when there are more than 3 of us on here) you can send news and questions into the vast world of cyberspace and get feedback and answers back from the teeming multitude of people interested in what you have to say.

At present, I have most of my project's reports on-line, and feel free to contact me to put on any reports you might happen to have.

I'm still working out the bugs on the site, so bear with me as I figure out how to get the photos and graphics pages to wrok properly.

The rest of the site is self-explanatory--I'm killing 2 birds with one stone, and part of the site (about VUPACS and about the staff) is devoted to my project, the Vanderbilt Upper Pasion Archaeological Cave Survey.

So, come in, sign up, 'blog away, and debate to your little heart's content.
